Meghan Morrison to raise funds for family literacy programs with Jim Cuddy in EdmontonAt the end of May, Meghan will be performing and auctioning off a house concert to raise funds for the Centre for Family Literacy. The event, hosted annually by Blue Rodeo front man Jim Cuddy and sponsored by Richardson GMP, will also include performances by Wayne Petti of Cuff the Duke and has already sold out. For those who would like to see her play in Edmonton, but do not have tickets for this event, Meghan will also be performing at the Blue Chair Cafe (opening for Cam Penner) on May 31st. She will be accompanied by Kelly Lefaive on violin and Evan LeBlanc on guitar. London Show AnnouncementMeghan's Music in London Saturday May 11th Meghan Morrison will be making her first performance in London, Ontario as part of The Four Winds Touring Collective (with Arlene Paculan, Heather Hill, and Kat Leonard) at The London Music Club on May 11th, featuring acoustic folk/pop artist Liz Coyles. Doors 7:30 PM. Tickets $7. Putting on the Producer's HatCD Release Party May 4th Meditation album by Dorothy Ratusny. Produced by Meghan Morrison. Being Love: Guided Meditations to Awaken Your Divine Spirit is the second album Meghan has produced outside of her own musical projects. The official launch party happens tonight at The Inner Garden in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) at 7:30. Includes a live meditation with the author, Dorothy Ratusny, as well as hang performances by Iven Simonetti. Admission is by donation. All door proceeds to palliative care patients.
